H/W
1. Find more TikToks to help and influence me
- For T1 - Yellow background
- Few shots - goes back and forth between a close shot/zoomed out/side views one to keep movement and engagement
- Lyrics and questions on the screen - going to need to incorporate some more detailed post-production work. With swipes etc.
- They usually have two screens running at once on the tiktok page. A horizontal one at the top and a vertical one at the bottom. It’s essentially the same camera footage though, but one is more focused on the artist and one is focused on the questions/lyrics. There’s a bit more variety.
- For T2 - Abandoned building as the background
- Faster paced shots are more appropriate
- More focus on setting than before, so that it can contribute to the overall atmosphere of the video
- There will be objects that correspond to each track on the album teaser. Typography is also quite important.
- They’re usually more thematic rather than focused on the artist themselves because it’s more about selling a music concept - after all it’s all about the music.
2. Adding more shots and details to my shot list
You can check here - SHOT LIST
3. Think about schedule and places to film
For treatment 1 - At school with the white backdrop set up. I might cut and paste some of my music video stuff into it so that it can have more varied locations and keep engagement.
For treatment 2 - Abandoned places - the tunnel and park sites. I will also be taking along props because they will be corresponding with my theme.
